Learn about the newest federal and state regulations related to Distance Education. What do they look like in practice? How does this impact the online classroom?

Regular Effective Contact is now Regular Substantive Interaction, and these changes for faculty engagement in online courses will be outlined and discussed.

New RSI language is designed to specify faculty engagement more succinctly, and this should lead to increased engagement and therefore more equitable outcomes for our DI student populations.

Participants will be able to adjust their online pedagogy to support the new federal and state regulations in distance education.
