Contract grading aims to redirect students’ attention from points and grades to self-reflection, thoughtful effort, and a respect for the learning process. With a well-designed grading contract, you’ll no longer hear questions like, “What grade do I need on the final in order to pass the course?” and “Do you have any extra credit opportunities?”
This session will provide an overview of grading contracts and how you might implement them in a learning-centered Canvas course.
