MyOpenMath for STAT 10 (SCC Math and Statistics)

I have created a complete set of MyOpenMath assignments for STAT 10, with embedded support videos for most of these assignments. I will share them at this workshop. After the workshop, you would be free to copy the MyOpenMath course that I have created and use it as desired for your STAT 10 courses, or for any of your MATHS courses. These assignments can be fully integrated into Canvas.

The topics list for the content of these assignments was originally created in Aleks, but I have added to it. Most of the questions used in my assignments were created by other MyOpenMath (MOM) users. Most of the embedded videos were created by others and are hosted on YouTube. I created my own assignments or videos when I felt that the existing MOM or YouTube materials did not match my approach to teaching that particular topic.

At this workshop, I will demonstrate these materials and share access to them so you can use them in your own courses.

Rick Woodmansee is a professor of mathematics and statistics at Sacramento City College and has been a full-time professor of MATH/STAT in Los Rios since 1995.
