Recent changes to the federal and Title 5 definition of Regular and Substantive Interaction specify what needs to happen in distance education courses so that institutions qualify to distribute financial aid to students. In this workshop, Kandace will explain the new language and help instructors adapt their online practices to meet the parameters of the new language.

About the Presenter

Kandace appreciates an excellent espresso and minimalist graphic design. Her cattle dogs and her road bike keep her busy when she's not doing committee work and supporting distance ed as your full-time Distance Education Coordinator. She and her close colleague, Brian, are always scheming to improve student success by helping faculty through innovation, continuous improvement, and proven teaching methods.
