This workshop will cover specific ways to use AI as a teaching assistant. We can use it to brainstorm innovative lesson ideas, personalize instruction for individual students, and foster critical thinking. Using AIwisely can create more inclusive, student-centered classrooms.
Audience
All, especially ENGWR, ESL, HIST, SOC and other writing disciplines.
About the Presenter
Jason Gulya is a Professor of English at Berkeley College. He's also a consultant who helps colleges create human-centered, AI-assisted learning experiences. He maintains an active online presence, primarily on LinkedIn. He has also been featured in multiple podcasts, including an episode of "Lecture Breakers." His unique way of prompting ChatGPT has also been covered by Business Insider.
