It's that time of the semester to join Caring Campus, our Webmaster, Dawn Pedersen, and our Public Information Officer, Crystal Lee, and Maurice Elamrani the Public Relations Technician for our dedicated time to update our campus webpages. They will be with us to help answer questions, offer news and updates, and provide expert advice during our breakout room sessions for division/service area teams or colleagues with similar workloads.
Topics you and others in your breakout room team may discuss:
- needed updates and changes on both the public-facing SCC webpages and Inside SCC webpages
- review and test the strength/clarity of search results
- reflect on how students and members of the public engage with our web pages and their content
- update your Caring Campus created Fast Facts(Charts of Services) and Campus Contact List information
- update campus web directory info
- share suggestions and ideas with others
Please connect with your division deans and area managers to find out if a team is being put together and make time in your schedule to join us for this space we have carved out of the semester's flurry of activity to keep our web pages effective, robust, and well maintained.
Taking good care (up-to-date information, clearly organized, clean design) of our web pages critically supports our current and prospective students' engagement with the campus and all we have to offer. Great webpages take everyone's efforts!

This event is relevant for everyone who is involved in maintaining area websites, including Department Chairs, Supervisors, Program Coordinators, Administrative Assistants, Cultural Engagement Center leads, etc.
