Student success data indicates that despite our efforts, disparities persist, particularly for our disproportionately impacted (DI) African American and Latinx students. How do you know if your instructional design supports the success of these DI students? Do you use data to assess key success indicators such as content accessibility, engagement, cultural relevance, and knowledge integration?
This interactive workshop will help instructors create an evidence-based praxis by teaching them to utilize data to:
- Identify specific challenges to DI student success in their course
- Create an intervention to address these challenges
- Measure the efficacy of the intervention to increase student retention and success outcomes
