As community college teachers or staff, you are often students' main source of inspiration!
Do you want to grow more confident and effective in the way you inspire and motivate them to learn, grow, persevere, and reach their potential?
Science shows that a walking practice - walking 3-4 times a week for as little as 30 minutes at a time - increases stamina and energy, lifts mood, improves cognitive abilities, enhances creativity, raises resilience and patience, and develops self-esteem.
In fact, even short 10-minute walking spurts contribute to these fantastic benefits, all of which "inspirational" teaching and student support demands.
Please join me for a short walk around campus to jumpstart a walking practice.
Let's do it!
