Making Sense Together: A Community College Space for Courage, Curiosity, and Connection
In times of turbulence, political division, global uncertainty, and social unrest, our campus community needs spaces where we can process, question, and grow together. Join the History Department as our host, while inviting adult learner/students and colleagues across campus to participate and engage in an open forum designed to help students and faculty make sense of current events: immigration enforcement, political polarization, violence, intolerance, and the U.S. role in the world.
This isn't a lecture—it's a Town Hall for students to share their perspectives, questions, concerns, and even anger, thus offering a listening session for colleagues and college employees with curiosity, belonging, and collective sense-making. Whether you need to voice your concerns, ask questions, or simply be in community with others navigating these times, you belong here.
