From applying to graduating, the student journey in college is mediated through electronic devices, apps, and forms. But what happens when students are not so well versed in our college's version of the digital world?
Northstar Digital Literacy suite of assessments and trainings is a great option to help students gain the kinds of skills they'll need to complete work in our world of digital file management, Google Docs, word processing, basic spreadsheets, and slide shows.
In this session, Distance Education Coordinator Kandace Knudson introduces the Northstar suite and explains how those in student support or instruction can connect students with these tools as a way to help them increase their academic technology capital and odds for success here at SCC.
