Topic 2: Ethics, Equity, and Inclusion in the Age of AI

Our second topic in the “5-Part AI Awareness Workshop Series” will explore the ethical, equitable, and justice-oriented approaches to AI use in higher education. We will discuss bias, authorship, access, academic honesty, inclusion, and fairness. It will be helpful if you've attended a Topic 1 workshop or have a basic sense of what AI and generative AI are and the types of tools students might be using. You don't need to be an expert — just come with an open mind and a willingness to think about fairness, transparency, and student experience.
