This session invites SCC English faculty to collaboratively review student writing and AI-generated writing from same or similar prompts.

Together, we will review and discuss these side-by-side examples, building a shared set of materials to examine.

The session is designed to move beyond abstract or theoretical concerns about AI and instead focus on concrete examples. By working with real student and AI-generated texts, participants can more clearly articulate distinctions related to voice, originality, depth of thinking, and engagement.
