Save the dates for this year's Rooted Sessions!
This year's sessions will continue with the theme of Following Our Compass from the annual SCC Classified Retreat held this past May.
We'll revisit some activities such as the Trail Markers/SWAPs and California Native Plant Seed Exchange and Knowledge Swap.
We'll also be kicking off the One Book Initiative, which will be the topic for every other rooted session starting in September and ending in May. The One Book Initiative is a year-long shared learning and community-building program for Classified Professionals grounded in collective care, equity, growth, and belonging.
Using The Serviceberry as the anchor text, participants will explore themes of reciprocity, community care, abundance, interconnectedness, and shared responsibility. We're doing the work to create a place of rest for you, so come as you are and we'll follow our compass together!
